Cookie policy
Updated
Under chapter 9, section 28 of the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (lagen (2022:482) om elektronisk kommunikation), a website may store information in your browser, or read it, only if you have been told why and said yes, except where it is needed for a service you have asked for yourself. Here is everything parkmap.se keeps in your browser.
Needed for the map to work
This is kept so ParkMap can do what you ask of it and needs no consent. Everything except the c15t cookie stays in your browser. The cookie is sent along each time your browser fetches something from parkmap.se, as every cookie is, but our server neither reads nor stores it.
c15t(cookie and local storage): your cookie choices. Kept for 12 months.parking-settings-storage(local storage): your settings on the map: vehicle type, plug-in vehicle, disabled parking permit, parking time, the pins and the latest position from “Find me”. Kept until you clear your browser.theme(local storage): light or dark mode.welcomeAcceptedVersion(local storage): that you have seen the introduction and the terms, so they are not shown again.locate-after-reload(session storage): makes the map find you again right after you allow location sharing. Gone when the tab is closed.
Cloudflare’s security cookies
parkmap.se is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set cookies to tell people from bots and protect the site from attacks, for example __cf_bm (30 minutes) and cf_clearance. They are necessary for security and need no consent.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept “Analytics”, Cloudflare Web Analytics is loaded. It counts page views and measures how fast the page loads. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not use your IP address or your browser to recognise you. If you decline, or do nothing, it is not loaded.
Changing your choices
You can change your mind at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer or under “About ParkMap” in the map. If you withdraw consent, the page reloads without the analytics script. You can also remove everything that is stored through your browser’s settings; the map then returns to its default settings.
